Adrienne Grunwald is a freelance photographer from New York City working in documentary, portraiture and sports projects. She received a BA from Lehigh University in 2004 and attended ICP's Documentary Photography Program in 2009. Her past life as a Division I female athlete continues to inform her personal work which seeks to create new imagery around the themes of gender, sport and spectacle. Adrienne has been a member of MJR’s collective of photographers since 2014. In 2016, she was chosen as one of PDN's 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch. In 2019 Adrienne’s work was selected for American Photography 35.
